Jovanie Zayas09:53 09 Jan 20The Blake Image was by no means the cheapest studio that I got a contacted, but I've had a few bad experiences in the past going with the cheapest option, and his portfolio was quite impressive, so I decided to see what he could do for me. Everything from discussing ideas to story boarding to the actual shoot itself were all extremely professional and I could immediately see where my money was going. The post-shoot communications were solid and Blake made sure I was happy with the end product. Since my client has started using his photos in their social media advertising they have seen an obvious increase in attention and interaction with potential customers. Worth every penny. Blake worked hard to execute our vision and completed some complicated templates for us. When we needed to tweak some things he had no issues and reshot them for us. His lifestyle images are fantastic as are his isolate product images. He was also flexible and easy to work with, even working around my complicated work/mother schedule. This man is in a rush to finish and start a new project. He continued to pressure me to accept my images (don't deny this as I have text messages of these conversations) so that he could begin working on another project which he claims he had lost due to spending more time on my project. Not my fault. Get it right from the start and you wouldn't be spending more time. He does not care about your project, just wants to finish it quickly and move onto another customer to up his 5 star ranking on google. That's all that matters to him. At the end of the day I paid you to produce work that I should be satisfied with completely. You made countless errors which is on you but to fix those errors you requested I pay to re-shoot! Disgusting! That is not on me that is your fault for rushing which made you miss the finer details. Regardless of the amount of time spent. You quoted me for this entire project and I paid for this so the extra time spent is not of my concern! You should do the job right from the beginning and you wouldn't have to waste time going back and forth. Blake's work may look great and the reviews "may seem" like he's great (begging past customers to write reviews to ensure his ranking stays high) but for finer detailed shots I suggest you go elsewhere. I not only found a photographer, that has provided crisp clean photos highlighting fine details, I also found a business that could design my web site and redesign my brochures and point of sale items. The starting process for me was very daunting but Blake broke everything down step by step and has created a fantastic platform for my customers to browse and place orders so easily. Alberto Del Rey00:40 25 Mar 19As you know I am so happy with the first 3 images you delivered and your level of experience was reflected in those images and I was straight away prepared to pay the invoice and have you continue immediately. Great Work! Unfortunately, looking back at the other angle images I feel as though because you had another project lined up the quality began to fade. This is evident in the images as most of the final changes had to be made in Photoshop (i.e. the crown being in the right angle, the crown not being pushed back, colour etc) You continued to tell me you were in a rush to complete and thus now you've missed the finer details (I have text message correspondence) this resulted in a half completed image in my eyes. Yes, the image looks "good" but you claim you're a perfectionist - it could have been better and I have not felt comfortable using the other angles as they look unfinished and not the result I wanted. If you lay out the images next to the first set of front-on shots you will see that they do not look identical. Tones on the strap look different to the front-on shots, the highlight on the bezel fades in some areas of each photo making it look flat with no dimension and they just overall do not look identical to their first front-on shots. I know I should have mentioned all this earlier whilst I had the opportunity but you continued to tell me that you're in a rush so that you could start your next project and expected me to pay more in order for you to re-shoot (even though these finer details were missed by YOU!) so I just felt pressured to accept the images as they were. I've basically paid a lot of money and only using 3 photos out of all the images you shot. You didn't lose here. I did. Wouldn't recommend Blake for high-end style shots.
